HOME PORTFOLIO MENTIONED IN PRINT HISTORY OF WESTERN FURNITURE PIECES FOR SALE CONTACT US

As Father and Son, we began our workshop in 1994, in picturesque and historic Livingston, Montana on the yellowstone river just 50 miles north of Yellowstone National Park. Our custom woodworking and upholstery are done in shop. Alway's having an intense interest, and love for the "Old West", a desire to make western furniture was easy to nurture. Building Log houses in the 1970's and 80's, has allowed for our transition into fine furniture making. Western design was our first choice of style, with Thomas Molesworth being our main influence. We have have had the opportunity to restore actual Molesworth furniture as well as pieces of Don Hindman, a former employ and contemporary of Molesworth, who resided here in Livingston, building pieces for friends and neighbors. This exposure as well as apreciating the work of other furniture artists has enabled us to develop a signature style of our own.

The materials we choose to use, are native to the region. Burled lodge pole pine, juniper, and western alder. The wool chimayo is woven by Cordelia Coronado of New Mexico. The cushions are custom made to order with down wrap. We feature Glazed buffalo leather, which we feel adds to an old western feel and patina. Craftsmanship is of the finest joinery techniques. Dove tail drawers and solid wood bottoms. Hand fitted wooden slides using suitable hardwood for all inside construction. Each piece of burl and pine is hand selected and scribed to fit.

Upholstered pieces are high quality leathers and hand woven wool Chimayo. The cushions are the finest ultra down wrapped available. Solid brass tacks compliment every chair, couch, table and desk top. Painted scenes on our pieces are done by Rusty's son Clint Viers.

We have participated in the “Western Design Conference” and the “Western Visions: Miniatures and More Show and Sale”, at the wild life art museum in Jackson Hole, and "Cody High Style" held at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming. We have also been represented by some of the finest gallery's in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Sun Valley, Idaho, Scottsdale, Arizona and right here in Livingston and Bozeman, Montana.

We strive to be true to western tradition in our designs. Like many of our friends and peers in this industry, we are diligent to maintain"FURNITURE AS ART".
